Another thing..If drug testing is done then why not go as far as to say if you do go for help to buy food then you can't have cable or sat. Or a car you make payments on. Or rent has to be only so much a month..

My mom has cancer and will not do chemotherapy or radition.she desired to go the herbal way, which means smoking marijuana and taking herbal pills. It has helped her so much...So what yall are saying is she should be denied fs benefits bc she smokes? How is this fair when she has worked her entire life, payed taxes for 40 years and never smoked or drank or done drugs...So if drug testing is done for people looking to get help then why not test them for alcohol or cigarettes? These have killed more ppl than marijuana..

Our daughter is 22 and has been through it all! We are so desperate! She is addicted to everything and anything. Heroine, Meth, pills. Tara says her mind has to be altered. She has never felt normal. She so desperately wants to be drug-free and will do anything for it! She's so smart. She had straight A's in high school while being so messed up. She grew up with a loving family attending Sacred Heart school and Eastside Catholic High School. She was able to get into private colleges with no problem. We were not going to pay while she was high. Tara took a medical terminology class + others and aced them! She is worth saving! Help! She is going know where fast!

Most of what you point out is supprisingly accurate and it makes me ponder why I had not looked at this with this light before. This article truly did turn the light on for me as far as this particular issue goes. However there is just one point I am not necessarily too cozy with and whilst I try to reconcile that with the actual main idea of your point, permit me observe what all the rest of your visitors have to say.Nicely done.

You were never REALLY ALONE! I myself have been going thru this for fifteen years. Stigma, pain, humiliation, poverty, hunger and embarasment! Things are toleralble just now. Workmans Comp. far from helping me, went out of their way to maxamize my suffering causing RSD, depression, pain and anxiety! My perception of my neighbors in general has dropped to allmost nil! Life and God and my hope in goodness has kept me from suicide........ I am 46 and counting

You people that are so for this law being passed because of your wasted tax dollars and pretty much taking a verbal dump on people who smoke marijuana or have real drug addictions are ignorant. First of all Income tax is unconstitutional. It is unlawful to tax a man's labor and there is no law that states you must pay income tax. Secondly Marijuana shouldn't even be illegal but nonetheless the government has classified cannabis as a Schedule I substance. It has been proven that marijuana is helpful in the treatment of many medical ailments, ranging from cancer to anxiety, you can not overdose from marijuana, and the use of pot as a recreational drug is no where near as devastating as the effects from recreational use of alcohol and cigarettes which I'm sure most of you use even occasionally. Tobacco has killed a lot of people from cancer and THC actually kills cancer cells, alcohol makes a lot of people violent or a hazard to others when they decide to drive drunk not to mention that you can overdose of alcohol but there has not been any marijuana related deaths. The third thing I wanted to say is how blind you sheep are when it comes to people with real drug problems. The government makes highly addictive drugs pretty much just hands it out amongst our people, because getting prescriptions really are that easy, then wants to go around filling our jails with non violent criminals who really are victims of our corrupt system some cases getting 20 years per pill and it is outrageous. The government should take control of their demons but of course they make too much money screwing the poor over. I'm just saying maybe some of you people should think a little harder about what your saying rather then believing every damn thing you hear.
